This design/build/lease project provides 150,365 square feet of rentable office space and 350 parking spaces in both secure and non-secure areas. The project is LEED Gold certified and includes an annex building for FBI technology and service groups. The facility incorporates progressive-collapse and blast-resistant design with a high level of sustainability, including a photovoltaic panel array located on the roof area of the secure parking garage. Natural landscape and high-tolerance plantings provide for natural low maintenance and a drought-resistant landscape solution. The PV array will supply the building with 28 percent of its daily energy use. The building is a focal point for the Kalaeloa community and creates a gateway development for the new Barbers Point business park.
